every tribe wears lace
the long lace skirts and blouses are just modern traditional attires.
To label most of the pictures here Yoruba and Igbo based on the tribe of the wearers is misleading,

I agree, if you want to label any attire authentically Yoruba and Igbo it would be these ones:
But because of us western influence they have been lost, especially the Igbo loin cloths.

sorry about my typographical errors. I wanted to ask where u got those pictures from? if u cebturytalk of us western u mean u are in the western world then what kind of pictures with men in loin clthes are u showing . Men we are in the 21st century

these dresses labelled yoruba are not yoruba. even camerounians and ivoreans wear them like that today

This is how our ancestors dressed. These were taken in the 20th century. I'm not ashamed of it.
