Unlike last gen, when both hardcore console makers Sony and Microsoft were in constant war of words, it appears that maturity finally found a place to settle in their rivalry as both gaming giant battle for dominance with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. An unusual gesture was noticeable in the latter part of last year when both companies launched their new gaming devices and congratulated each other over their successes.

Microsoft Studios corporate vice-president Phil Spencer recently admitted that Sony’s strategy for the PS4 is impressive and confessed that the tech giant is doing a “nice job” marketing the console and showing to consumers explicitly what the PS4 is capable of achieving.
