A man in his late 20s is writhing in pains at a Lagos hospital after his live-in-lover nearly bite off his manhood for bringing another woman into their home.

The young man, identified as Femi Sunday from Badagry area, is under sedation at Milla Hospital, Awodura, Ajegunle while the woman escaped being lynched by a mob having been rescued by policemen from Ajeromi Police Station.

According to neighbours who witnessed the early morning bizarre act, the woman, in her late 30s used her teeth to bite Sunday’s manhood during the fight.

Daily Sun gathered that the woman, identified as Josephine, had travelled to seek medical care for an undisclosed ailment and returned three weeks ago to find that Sunday had brought another woman, named Anita, into the one-room apartment on 60, James Igbe Road, Ajegunle.

It was gathered that the the woman did not make trouble for three weeks, until Sunday made an uncomplimentary remark about her on Monday.
Anita told Daily Sun that after she massaged Sunday, who had taken ill, the man reportedly thanked her remarking that if not for her (Anita) nobody would have been around to take care of him, as Josephine was always travelling.

Unknown to the couple, Josephine, who was eavesdropping, over-heard them and barged into the room.
An altercation ensued in which Sunday derisively called Josephine a barren woman, as she had not given him a child.
This led to a fight, in which the man was said to have had upper hand. Subjected to severe beating, Josephine allegedly went for Sunday’s genitals with her teeth and almost bit it off. The lover boy reportedly slumped, making neighbours and passers-by attracted to the scene by his shouts and cry of agony to think he was dead.
