I Want To Learn Yoruba by sistawoman: 7:53pm On Sep 23, 2008
Ok so my search for women was a bust now i am looking for anyone over the age of 25 years old who has a microphone and Yahoo messenger that can teach me yoruba.

Your speach should be understandable and you should be tolerant.

I am 33 years old, happily married and just want to learn my husbands language. There are some words i can pick up from reading but i learn best by hearing it.

Thanks

Re: I Want To Learn Yoruba by kokoye(m): 10:21pm On Sep 25, 2008
Yoruba is complicated compared to other languages cos it has different dialects. Ithink the best way to learn is to hang around people who skeap it normally, like ur hubby's friends.

or move to PG county in Maryland grin - that entire county is full of poeple like me who eat and sleep in yoruba! I lived there for 4 years.

I know baby that is where i moved from before i brought my home in B-more. Crossroads is the spot for sure. My neighbor and I still go there to party. All those Nigerian men in one spot at one time. I swear i have died and gone to Nigeria.
