A Kenyan clergy, Bishop Thomas Wahome is known for his bizarre ways but this may just be the cherry at the top of the pie.


According to reports, Wahome, the Senior Pastor of Helicopter of Christ Church is now charging his followers the equivalent of $20 to check if their names are written in the Book of Life.

Bishop Thomas Wahome of Helicopter ministries is the king of controversy.

First, the name of his church is just out of this world. He is also known to craft very bizarre ways of conning his flock

In 2012, pastor Wahome was charging Sh 1,200 to anyone who wanted to touch his garment- like that woman who touched Jesus’ clothes in Mark 5:21-34.

Wahome also claimed that people who touched his clothes got instant healing from whatever disease And now, he has devised a new con game. Its called “Check whether your name is the bookof life”.

Wahome claims that if you give him Sh 1,500, he can actually ask God whether you are among those people who will go to heaven.

He claims that he has a direct line to God and he can communicate with him directly.

I think this guy is called but who called him is what I am yet to verify. Like what Nigerian comedians do say all the time, some people called God and not God WHO CALLED THEM!
Funny and annoying at the same time. Funny because he actually fixed a price!
annoying because somebody whom God have given reasoning faculty and a brain to use in life will go to such a pastor and pay for such a service!
