that code ain't working! It is ncc short code and not any emergency code belonging to the police and fire service.

Most times, the 112 isn't even rechargeable.
U don't even need a sim card to call 911 in America.

Abeg! That 112 stuff is trash! It doesn't work at all! I even plan writing a letter to them to complain! There was a robbery going on where I live(my neighbourhood). It came to my mind that I call the so called "112" only for the attendance to hang up on me! Because of reason I do not know of. So at the end of the day, I was peacefully robbed! No police or anything came to out rescue, I learnt others also called the number but also failed. So please don't rely on them in any emergency situation!!! Thanks! The 112 emergency Number works pretty well in Anambra state, I tried it the other day.
