MabraO: At the end of 6 yrs schooling they all write d same WAEC and NECO with students that paid far less for same education

Education in Nigeria is overrated
Not Really. They rarely write national exams. Most of them write international exams. I know of Greensprings School

I remember we didn't have a chemistry teacher from SS 2. IMAGINE....WE WERE 481 IN SS 1....but here we are, rising stars

Chuukwudi: I pity their students. It'll be useless if any of them studies in our federal/state universities after graduation!

I was equally Dazed wen I stumbled upon my kid sister's school fee teller in abj. A staggering 750k. I wantd to strangle my dad because I didn't wnt to knw wht kind of knowledge they were impacting. My whole stay throughout Med schl I am very sure it didn't cost him up to 500k including books. Some of these fees are just outrageous and unfortunatedly we gladly embrace them without rethink.

Such schools are actually created for social and class segregation as well as networking among the children of the rich, at end of the day they will form a strong alumni where they help each other through out their lives.

They don't want their children to mingle with the classless and poor, the parent usually can afford even 10M school fees, we are talking of the children of CEOs, top government, and diplomats.

I know of an international organisation that pay their staff children schools fees up to $15000 annually per child.

Some of them are not even good schools. A school must have a standard football pitch and other sporting facilities. It must have a hall. Some of these schools lack these.

We should be more worried about politicians and government officials RESPONSIBLE for the falling standard of education in PUBLIC schools IF they send their children to such expensive private schools with obviously stolen money as their LEGITIMATE salary cannot afford such.
