Pls my follow pig farmer and those interested in pig farming Pls, do be careful when buying exotic breeds. 80% of exotic breed been sold to u are not pure breeds they are mixed. My advice to anyone venturing into pig farming or buying exotic pigs should insist on seeing the parent pig of any piglets or grower u are about to buy to avoid stories that touch.
For ur exotic breeds u can contact me on
07066752231 calls
08032952157 watsapp
Morrizo
I can share a video of what a pure breed looks like

Very funny. See parents indeed. Come to okearo and see where scammers use exotic breed as parents to deceive buyers. Seeing isn't always believing

In pig farming either pure or not pure is not important all what is important is getting a good hybrids not a mixbreeds what matter most is a pedigree boar which most important cos most of there offspring usually looks like the boar that sire them my camby mix look exactly like the fullbreeds

Please house, what bread is this? Someone supplied me this, they are my first intake for breeding.
this are nice mixbreeds well fed just make sure u get a good boar to cross them there offspring will now be a good hybrid hope u are only breeding them for fattening cos breeds like this don't atttact premium price for there offspring

Most white pigs will all claim as large white are just hybrids purelines don't come cheaply n u dont need any pureline for this biz except if u only want to be selling premium animals of which most farmers hardly even can differentiate BTW purelines n hybrids but if you have the cash you can get a pureline boar to improve your herds and if you no there is markets for premium pigs around you then you can venture into premium n fattening as well,if any1 have any questions he can ask here or pchat can't access my email address

Before u venture into this business what is more important is how to source for good feeds n u must have another source of income structures or buildings wont determine the level of success in this biz let me use myself as a good examples was feeding my pigs very well but last 2months I was stranded can't feed them properly some are nursing mothers so in that process most of them av demaciated now am spending over 200k to restructure them back that feeds is meant to be use in making them look bigger but now am spending such money just to put them back in shape just that those my piglets n weaners are just my consolation for me so pig farming is like broiler rearing always make sure u have provisions of feeds at least for 3months or if u have steady income

This biz is not a goldmine the way consultant present it very sweet in paper work but not easy in reality the only advantage pig farms has is just the way it multiply and it a very good way of eating ur ur excess fundz b4 u go spend 10k for beerparlor u go 1st reason pig feed 1st so is a very good way of savings cos if u want to cash out it always bulky but u might think u made profits at times it not always true is just that u recive all the money u have been pumping into it for months, cos let ask each other how much is the cost of our feed per kg?how many kg do we even feed our pigs b4 they give us a kg of flesh those people making it big way are those big playaz or those that have access to cheap industrial waste anyway in pig farming patience is the key try n be in a group this biz is a continuous learning 2 or 4days training won't make u no much in this business, I was lucky to be in a group b4 starting if I rely on just going for few days training wonder were I will be now n u also need to train ursef don't wait for anybody to spoon feed u,I have visited more than 30farms or more so u don't rely on what people said u rely on ur own personal observations let move out of our comfort zone n learn this trade properly

The truth about pig farming is make sure u farm the right breed. Exotic breeds may be expensive but in reality they have the best feed conversation rate. It's just like seedlings, when u have the high breed seedlings ur harvest is plentiful. A local pig breed is the worst mistake a pig farmer can make. The consume a lot with no results.
My advice is save and get a pure breed, even if is a sow and a boar. I promise u, u will never regret it.
I have farmed both and am talking from experience.

note pureline are meant to boost our current breeds cos they av low resistance to diseases so the best feeder pigs so far are hybrids anyway all my breeders stock are obj LW cross with camby but I won't come here to tell you I have purelines anyway if u have pure line of lanndrace n Duroc at cheap price I don't mind ooo even most mixbreeds in circulation have me improved over the time most of my piglets are 70% camby cos there mother is lwcross with camby while the boar na fullbreeds anyway LW pure breeds will give u same results as camby or any purelines will give same results looking forward to get tempting offer of another purelines make I use am upgrade my present stock

National Secretariat,
Nigerian Association of Piggery Farmers,
Abuja.
12/01/2018
Dear Mr. President,
DEMAND FOR PIGGERY COLONIES
The National Association of Piggery Farmers deplore the marginalization of the association by the Federal Government. Our pigs have been variously targeted for elimination in several Northern states. Those Sharia compliant states have refused to allow our legitimate business to thrive. Our members have been hounded and harassed by the Hisbah Police and others. We deplore this.
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture has paid deaf ears to out plight. Our members demand that the marginalization must stop in order to forestall the breakdown of Law & Order.
From the foregoing, NAPF thus demand the following:
1. Equal opportunities for all farmers and herders throughout the federation
2. We demand for a 20 hectare Piggery Colony in the 19 Northern States especially Katsina, Kano, Kebbi, Sokoto, Yobe, Bauchi, Niger, Borno and Gombe
3. We demand the National Assembly to pass a law on Piggery Colonies in all Northern states
4. We demand that a section of the Nigerian Army be employed in the protection of pigs and pig farmers
5. We demand the Federal Ministry of Agriculture to set aside a budget for the importation of Pig Feed from Argentina
6. We demand a special department of Piggery in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
Dear Mr. President, we are a law abiding association. We prevent our members from being provoked by the government-backed Hisbah/Islamic horde that aim to destroy our pig farmers. We shall not be involved in attacking and killing the anti-piggery people in the Sharia States. If these things are not done, we can no longer guarantee that our members would not deliberately target our transducers!
Signed
