The cosmic korra was a result of this and she had a good fight with the bad dude

After the end of the Hundred Year War, Aang passed away. His hundred years of being frozen in a state of suspended animation in the Avatar State eventually weighed heavily on his body, as he had burned up some of his energy during that time."
So he died at a younger age because of the time he spent frozen.
And in real sense if we added the time he spent on ice with his present age,he kinda lived much longer than his predecessor..

Simple Logic,biology knowledge.. And I researched the character,and you know You can't go against mother nature and Father Time,without paying a little price. and recall that he was in his Avatar State for a 100yrs,that's definitely gonna take a toll on his body.
