Reminds me of an Arab man whom Allah tested with stroke (total paralysis of the body). According to him. he used to engage in all forms of disobedience of Allah and pay little attention to His Rabb. The stroke was a means of him getting back to His Lord.

First Attempt to Steal the Holy Body of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W from Madina


The love for Prophet Mohammed (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) has always been a trademark of Muslims. A love more than one’s own life, parents, children and whatever exists is an everlasting testing stone that distinguishes between Muslims and other nations of non-believers.

This is the reason that non-believers of all the times targeted the Personality of Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) directly. They tried to shake the belief of people on Him (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) and when they failed, they tried to cause harm to the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM).



In this specific writing, we will talk about the first attempt made to steal the Holy Body of The Prophet Mohammad (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) from the Green Dome in Madina. However ALLAH Almighty arranged a great defeat for all such morons.

Some Christians planned the same in 557AH/164. It was the time of a very pious Muslim ruler Nur ad Din Mahmud Zanki (may Allah Bless him). The commander of his soldiers was Asad ad Din Shirkuh the uncle of Great Salah ud Din, the one who conquered Jerusalem.



One night Nur ad Din Mahmud Zanki (may Allah Bless him) was blessed with a dream and he saw The Holy Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM). The Holy Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) pointed at two people of red color hair (at their heads) and Said, “Mahmud, Save Me (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) from them”.

Al Zanki (may Allah Bless him) woke, offered prayer again and slept. He saw the same dream again. He got up from the bed again, offered prayer and tried to sleep and saw the same dream for the third time. He then called his advisor Shaikh Jamal ud Din, and discussed the matter with him.

Shaikh advised him to go to Madina immediately and asked him to not to relate the dream to anyone else. Nur ud Din Mahmud Zanki (may Allah Bless him) took his advisor with him and a Historian Majd al Din. The caravan comprised thousands of camels carrying expensive gifts on them.



Mahmud Zanki(may Allah Bless him) reached Madina from Syria in sixteen days. He directly went to the Prophet’s (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) Mosque. There he performed Prayers and Salat. With consideration of his advisor, he summoned all the people of Madina in order to present them with alms.

Nur ud Din Zanki looked carefully at each of the visitors but could not see those he saw in a dream. He inquired if all the residents have received the alms. The people replied in Yes. He asked them again and some people told him that there are two most pious people who don’t accept any alms.

They feed the needy people generously, observe fast on regular basis, perform tahajjud and offer salah to the Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM) day and night and once a week they visit the Masjid al Nabawi.

Nur ud Din (may Allah Bless him) ordered the two to be presented to him. They were the two people he saw in the dream. He recognized them immediately and asked them why they are here. They replied that they are Moroccans, came for hajj and wish to stay in Madina as neighbors of The Holy Prophet (Blessings and Peace be Upon HIM).



Nur ud din Zanki (may Allah Bless him) insisted them, to tell the truth, but they kept quiet. He asked about their residence and went there. He inspected their residence near the sacred chamber and when an old rug was lifted a wooden board was found and under that a newly dug tunnel.

The tunnel was approaching the Sacred Chamber. They got terrified and confessed that they are Christians and king of Iberia sent them with a huge sum of money to execute his plan. They rented the house nearest to the Holy Chamber and used to dig the tunnel in the night and throw out the soil in the day.

They also told that when they got near to the sacred chamber an earthquake shook the earth and a fearful thunder was observed. Nur ud Din Mahmud Zanki (may Allah Bless him) ordered the immediate execution of the culprits and thanked ALLAH who blessed him with the honor of saving the sacred chamber.



Arrangements made to protect the Holy Body of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W: After this attempt, Nur ud Din Zanki(may Allah Bless him) ordered a deep trench to be dug around the Holy Chamber and then filled it with melt lead so that nobody could ever reach the sacred chamber again.

Zanki (may Allah Bless him) stayed in Madina and distributed charity generously to the people of Madinah. He is a trademark of Military Courage, extreme modesty, and piety. Even his enemies acknowledge that Zanki loved justice more than anything else.

After today's fasting it's the night of jum'ah also the 23rd night of Ramadhaan. Our past scholars, the likes of Ibn Rajab and Ibn Taymiyyah(may Allah be pleased will them) said, if the night of jum'ah coincides with an odd night(especially in the last part of Ramadhaan) is most likely to be laylatul Qadr.



You can confirm this in the book called "lataiful ma'aarif" by ibn Rajab al hambali. So,be prepared!

# Those who opined their submission that the "Ruh" in that ayah refer to Jubril probably think of another verse in sura Maryam wherever Allah says "We sent Ruh'ana (Our Ruh) to her (Maryam)". Here no doubt as supported by another verse and ahadith, it is confirmed it refer to "angel" (Jubril in particular)

# Generally, Ruh according to Quran, is a created entity on its own where ONLY Allah have it's full knowledge. Meaning that it is never Jubril in every verse that the word "Ruh" is used.

I've read through and watched parts of the videos... That 29 minutes interview is too long biko

I felt for the Ms Williams when they said she was in an abusive relationship and had had a miscarriage around the time of the crime. It made me understand her motive.

And then the girl who was kidnapped too, I saw her smiling and trying to make jokes but I know deep down she's not as happy. I'd recommend that she be closely monitored to prevent her from doing anything drastic to herself. Depression doesn't happen overnight... There's a lot to process for her. Having THREE MOMS... Trying to maintain her sanity and balance. Trying to adjust to the new life.... It's not something she should be left alone to deal with by herself. She's just 18+, even grown ups still battle.

Then, her biological parents. I feel for them too.. Not knowing what became of your baby for 18 years. Sub han Allah!

Like the judge said, it's an emotional case and there are no winners or losers.

I'd give the Ms Williams the maximum sentence. What she did wasn't right. She had no justification. You RUIN other people for your own happiness and go scotfree, not on my watch.
That would also deter others from considering the act.

Actually it is not. It stops playing I think around 12mins or thereby. Seems something's wrong with recording.

Like you read my mind?. I didn't want to be forward so that you don't accused me of siding with her . Unfortunately she allowed that to cloud her judgement. That's why she kept saying "I don't know" when asked why she did that. What most women don't understand at young age when they pregnant either marriage or not is that, having baby with most guys in Western hemisphere doesn't keep a guy. They think they can hold a guy down by getting prego but it always turns out to be the other way. That seems to be her case. It looks like she was struggling to hold her marriage by stealing a baby in order to hold her husband due to miscarriages. This is what a comment said. But I can't be certain if this applies to her.

Really sad it will take forever to recover from this. The worst thing for the girl to do is to be sad about. That's why she's keeping up. Depression will hit her big sooner or later. That's good observation on your part right there. She's pretending as if it is not a big deal. Think it is easy to let go of a woman that raised you, that you called mummy for 18 long years. Chai, she's definitely part of her life she can't forget that. I do have a feeling that Ms Williams may be pardoned in few yrs rather than serving 18yr behind bars. She sounds responsible.

Indeed. But read comments. People condemned the judge for saying this. They talk about life sentence for the woman. We got cruel people in the world. What if she had killed the baby?. That's lose lose situation accross the board.

This few seconds is heartbreaking where the girl met her "mother" behind bars. Really it is a tough situation. Kidnapping is part of life, but thank God i wasn't kidnapped

This comments below are funny. Gloria Williams was indeed wrong but God knows what would have happened if she was raised by her biological parents. Things happened for a reason that everyone doesn't know now, maybe later in the future. Her biological father even looks like a damn "ajegbo" (not judging).

Take a look at a case of 2 yr old baby kidnapped and killed by God knows who. Her mother (case Anthony) was potential culprit was exonerated after trial and her baby Caley got no justice till now. She would have been 12 now. So it is not easy for the 18 yr old girl to just let go of her abductor "mother" of 18 yrs whom she knew as her only mother. That's why she was looking for a way for leniency on her. She said she understood what she did was wrong but she doesn't want authority just lock her up and throw away the key. But her biological mother wants maximum jail term for abductor of her baby and possible "no contact order" from her baby. That's understandable. Our world is full of mysteries
