People that have gotten jobs have at one point or the other failed one or two tests so don't even kill yourself. You are NOT a dullard. Keep calm your good news will come pretty soon.

Getting regret mails is really painful, it hurts...especially after waiting so long..

But what you have to do now is CHEER UP! Try to feel POSITIVE and totally forget it.

I say this coz i have experienced this before! After two personality tests and an online assessment test plus more than a month waiting, Union Bank through Dragnet 'hitted me hard' (permit me to say it dis way) with a Regret mail. Ooooh, i felt so bad, i said to myself am dreaming, it can't be, i did well and expected to pass.

All in all i said to myself God knows best and Life goes on! Then to help me forget, i stopped following the Union Bank thread. Later, when the hurt subsided, i started revisiting the thread so as to keep abreast with the recruitment process incase of next time.

However, here i am today...i applied for the UAC Management Trainee program and got a SUCCESS TEXT MESSAGE & MAIL! Indeed Life goes on...Union Bank's Loss will be UAC's gain.

Your Success Mail is on the way ... just be cool

For one regret mail two more opportunities show up. I can tell u it wouldn't be easy, especially wen all ur hope is in that job. I can tell u for d fact that it's better to get off early than get a regret mail after the final interview. I got to partner level at kpmg and i got a regret mail, that's called heartbreak. It took me weeks to get over it. So let us be positive for the greater purpose. Peace n love to those that got regret mail n to those that got success mail it just get tougher. Let us keep ourselves informed n prepared. Don't forget the higher we go the tougher it becomes...

Urs is just union Bank plc disappointment n some others first attempt if I share my own story with u, u will weep for me thou I'm nt the first person to exp sure series of job disappointment. But with God, determination & perseverance etc the unsuccessful will become successful in an up coming pursuit. Sincerely my success mail comes from God almighty despise my sinful nature. Year 2013 was terrible I wrote diamond bank test twice I was unsuccessful, wrote NB plc test I was successful but I was dropped @ d interview stage, I wrote again by the one organised by WFM. Dec after a long wait I was unsuccessful, I wrote FMN sales officer test twice sept 2013 n may 2014 I was unsuccessful, I wrote consolidated brewery hit sec I think dec24 still date no response, I attended series of interview in 2013 most of the job then I nv had passion for came up I rejected them so I nv showed up again when successful which I regreted in a way. Y this was happening sincerely I lost my faith n believe in God. thou, I motivated myself, I remained focused n determined to excel. I did more research, sharpened my skills, attended training AGDC, did a profession certification but did nt write dia exam as a result of my inability to pay d fee CILT. did another which I paid for on scholarship so d fee was discounted CNS. I was working without pay for exp sake before I decided to take up a contract job in d same office. Today as I speak to u, UACN will make it the forth in pipe line that I have an ongoing negotiation with for a role....

Repent of ur sins n ask God to take control of ur career path.
Don't give up on ur self u r d best in d world.
Attend Training / seminar also read motivational books
Improve ur network/Skills/Job hunt strategy
Take up any job whether d pay is good or not...work for exp n d pay will come later.
At the pointed time God will make u successful like me when u least expected it.
I pray to scale through d hurdles in this UACN recruitment process in Jesus name. Amen
