I understand the fact that u have to express ur feelings (its natural) here as his (TSO) number may not have been available to do so but I believe before you placed an order, u vowed to "Wait" till it arrives. I don't see any difference in the waiting game wen "Touchdowns" are been mentioned. The waiting game should continue till u get ur gadget. That's wen it should end. Cus it touched down lagos today doesn't mean u gon get it the next day (I must say that some logistics are just pure devils roaming around and seeking for whom's bizness to destroy). TSO is doing all his best to see that all those "touchdowns" gets to u. Yes! N not just u, everyone whose gadget arrived with urs. Imagine him recevin calls from different clients who are on waiting list, touchdown lists, pre order lists n so on. Pls yall should cut him some slack here.

I understand its "business" and clients ain't concerned with the "Unforseen circumstances" but I believe u deserve the truth on wats holding up ur goods arrival. He is just been plain honest with yall.

Since the 'Touchdowns' were announced 3 days back, every one of them have been eager to get their orders, and understandably so too. But, we all understand that there may be unforeseen circumstances, but TSO needs to keep the habit of updating them all, even if it's to visit this thread once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, to douse their tension, it would be nice. Also, some people have been patient for 2 weeks+, then touchdown, yet on the 3rd day after touchdown, they still aren't in possession of their gadgets, and little or no communication from TSO. That can be really frustrating, bro.
If the package never enter Naija, it would be even more understandable. Put yourself in their shoes.

When I ordered my own Doogee DG-310 (God bless that day), I had read through the previous pages and saw a lot of great communication from TSO and lots of testimonials. I felt secure, just going by all that. After I placed my order, the communication was still good, but basic. I took my mind off the waiting period, and promised myself not to bother about the phone until after 4 days he told me. Then the China customs and battery issue. I took it all in good fate and waited another 1 week after that, before I got my order. I promptly went to pick-up at his Ajao Estate base. I was quite happy, and readily recommended the phone and TSO to everyone I could. Several other orders came in for TSO at the time, and I think, coupled with the stress of the Chinese customs, it all started getting to him and weighing him down. Communication has been dropping since then, and Oga Nelson just has to take things easy and keep a calm attitude through the storms. That's how business is, and I'm sure he knows that. I know other NL importers who will always come around to placate one, explain the situation, and apologize, in fact even many customers would add extra money to compensate the stress the importer went through. It all depends on how you treat your customer.
Unless you're 'tired' of dealing with a customer, never give a customer the impression that you're deliberately ignoring them. Many customers are more understanding than even you the businessman, and they'll gladly tell you they understand. Just give them a new date and deliver on time. Also, instead of these logistics guys, many of these bus drivers traveling inter-state are also trustworthy and reliable. I don't know much about sending phones, but I usually send stuffs through bus drivers to people outside of Lagos, when I can't go myself, and they're just random, but registered drivers at Oshodi, Iyana-Ipaja, Ojota (depending on where I am and the destination). Just a thought, though. Forgive me for my 'aproko'.
