tsolz84: Bros;the SE belongs to each and every nigerian..not keshi alone..the problem most nigerians are having with keshi is his ability to issue blames on his players;"Ike uche doesnt plays to instructn;hence he's indiscipline"(mind you;he's the 1st coach to utter that);SE drew with Iran;he blamed osaze;SE lost against france;whch was due to his tactical deficiency;he blamed enyeama..keshi is clueless Typical Stephen keshi move: 1. Blamed Adebayor for Togo's woes 2, Blamed Mali's FA for Mali's woes at 2010 AFCON. 3. Blamed Osaze, Blamed Uche, Blamed NFA / NFF , Blamed Enyeama, Blamed the Ref, Blame this , blame that. 4 Likes |

Did Enyeama not drop the ball?? Maybe, we should recruit the ones with clue, berti vogts, et al who criticised no one. And also achieved nothing. 1 Like |

Nigeria's ineptitude at set pieces this World Cup epitomises just how useless Keshi is. No dedicated corner taker, Musa couldn't beat the 1st man, Mikel just punted it to the back post... 4 of the 5 goals we conceded in total were directly from set pieces, and any half decent tactician would have noticed this deficiency and moved to correct it. 2 Likes |

Nihilist: The least you can do is give him the respect he deserves. Not senseless bashing. 4 years ago, we were not sure of the direction pf our football. We could not even qualify for AFCON. Keshi has laid a great foundation from which others can build. We are at the top of the continent in just a few years. We have the platform to hopefully move to the next level. Yet, you forget so quickly where we are coming from. Even westerhof needed more time to achieve the same thing. 3 Likes |

django1: Funny enough, the ‘great' 94 squad didn't achieve beyond this and they are legends to many of these naysayers. Smh. Because the GREAT 94 SQUAD played against the likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Balakov , Costadinov from Bulgaria . Then we played against the star studded Argentinian squad and YET we TOPPED THE GROUP IN OUR FIRST EVER WORLD CUP before losing out to Italy who went on to play in the finals against Brazil. Any right think football aficionado wouldn't dare compare Keshi's clowns to Westerhoffs gladiators 4 Likes |

Nihilist: Keshi for me is too tactically naive, and his naïveté was woefully exposed at the WC this summer.Am really hoping dat he resigns and then we go back to 'Operation bring d white adviser' that wreaked our football 4 sum time. People forget dat d so-called 'simple' Nations Cup was not won for 19 years b4 he came, that the techinal advisers of france 98 lost at this exact stage to Denmark, that we have had more 'talented' players like Yakubu, Ik Uche, Martins, Jay-Jay, Taiye Taiwo, Chidi Odiah and co but we performed worse than this man did with this squad. We forget that it was under him that the likes of Omeruo, Oboabona and Onazi were given their chances to shine which they did. Yes Keshi is not the best technically, yes he made sum mistakes( e.g. Carrying only one midfielder in Onazi and packing dead heads as midfielders), yes he may be rigid, but he has performed better than any other coach we had coaching the senior side, save Westenhoff. So give him sum respect. Go and find Lagerback to bash( at least he earned far more than Keshi and performed far worse- talk of technical brillance). 3 Likes |

Mr.chippychappy: Where was bulgaria before the world cup? Many of those guys became stars after the world cup apart from stoichkov. There were no better than Bosnia. Greece, first world cup, poor team. Our 94 group was not much stronger than our 2014 group. They achieved the same thing, 2nd round. 2 Likes |

bumdish: You spoilt your analysis by discrediting Keshi, a man that has achieved what no Nigerian and indeed no African, dead or alive has ever achieved. You forgot to add that he was the first African coach to take his team to the second round at the world cup. 1 Like |

Choice of players should be made on current form, exceptions allowed only if there is some hidden talent that can be unlocked. Keshi has reached his peak, he cannot surpass these "archievements" Let his place another take but no foreigner. 2 Likes |

django1: Funny enough, the ‘great' 94 squad didn't achieve beyond this and they are legends to many of these naysayers. Smh. The highest profile player at the 94 squad was Finidi George of Ajax. The great Rashidi Yekini was playing for Vitoria of Portugal.Emenalo had no club sef. Fast forward to 2014, and you had a EPL, FA Cup, Carling Cup, and Double European Cup winner in the Squad(Mikel), Osaze/Moses/Yobo play in the EPL, Ambrose plays for the Scottish Champions, and Enyeama was arguably the best keeper in France last season. Surely you can understand why Nigerians expected far more from this current squad than the boys in 94 making their 1st ever appearance in a World Cup. Quite simply, the 94 squad over-achieved... 2014 squad severely under-achieved! 5 Likes |
