i just got converted from a ctr to an lcd, and im not in any way impressed by what is supposed to be a superior technology (lcd). its lighter (weight) , saves energy... but the picture quality? no. is it my configuration thats the cause or lcd is overrated. |

this is what someone said on a forum: I agree with all of you that LCD are WAY better for static images, with better geometry, no flickering. They are an improve to daily task, such as surfing the web, or office over CRTs. BUT, there is no contest for playing (at least in my opinion). You haven't noticed ghosting  and colors... well,contrast is one thousand superior in a good CRT. Blacks are blacks, and they have much more depth of color. I have my computer plugged to 2 screens.
