In the early hours of this morning, there were rumours that the governor of Adamawa State; Rtd Admiral Murtala Nyako has resigned from office in a bid seen by many as a calculated attempt to avoid his impeachment. I have however been able to confirm that the governor is yet to tender his resignation as evidenced by his attendance of a Council of States meeting in Abuja today (July, 8, 2014).

I guess the waiting game continues! See the governor smiling below:
