HDF is higher and last longer than MDF. it has a better water resistant,better grip, fungi and moisture free. Its extremely advisable to use HDF in moisture prone area exp bungalow without German floor. MDF also come in different quality and fit well in a well constructed building. As for kitchen cabinet,HDF is better because of proximity to splash water while MDF flows with wardrobe base on client budget.
However, many cabinet maker use MDF,its common and about #3000 cheaper than HDF per sheet base on current market price.
