I reduced my Data speed to 2mbps and YES the data depletion reduced 2 days and I haven't used up to 500MB thats a miracle thanks Jmaine!

I haven't used it with my laptop yet just my iPhone.

Also, remember that while charging your phone which is connected to WiFi, the Iphone automatically carries out a complete cloud backup in the background. Ensure you always disconnect from your WiFi when charging your Iphone.

The SmileOn offer is the bomb . .I exhausted by quota last Monday and I have been surging on since then . . . . I love it, though they still need to do more to the pricing . . .. . . . grin

ikaboy: Smile 4G lite is a scam. I got the device and recharged for 30GB for my office. In just two days my data cap was exhausted. Same 30GB will use initially with other network. Am so disappointed with Smile.

Why you no wait may the test finish na, we all know when running speedtests, the speed may spike way above the normal range when it just starts. Post a screenshot of a complete test. Thanks.

lol..only after 10secs speedtest has guzzled 33mb, imagine if I wait till the end.

nope, That's data used by speedtest app to measure my data. My data manager keeps track of data used by all apps and speed test ish zaps data a lot. Loving the speed of smile all the same, downloaded 1gb in 12mins

Am using franklin modem of smile 4g lte, the speed will make you miscalculate. I updated my norton antivirus under 3 minutes of 248MB. It was like a dream, i started it, then went to get water and i came back my norton was updated. My friend finished his 5gig under 4 days. But mine still running for 3 weeks now.

House: you can make the modem not to show your ssid and password from the modem if you go to setting and look for gui and disable it.

Sorry am just seeing this comment, though to be honest I did have refused doing that after learning bitter lessons running speed test even via mobile apps.

But believe SMILE is freaking fast, with just a bar, 1.5MB/s has been my minimum download speed, when it is like 2-3 bars, it is often 1.8 -2.2MB/s download speed.

I miss my smile 4G LTE . . . . . . .
