A report on the Telegraph today, though contains many faulty assumptions, published a graphic evidence of why the state of emergency has failed. It is also a damning indictment on the GEJ administration to see a graphical representation of the increase in death between 2010 and 2014.

This is not an indictment on the state of emergency but a statement on the strategy or lack of.
Also the exposes the brutality and indiscipline in the military and the corruption/clueless of the jonathan led federal government.
Mind you, these numbers are official number. The real numbers must be at least 10 times that.

There is a trend of escalating violence which has no causal link to the state of emergency.
