SHUT the doors of your ears to tale
bearers. Allow no one, not even your
blood relations, to spread the tale of your
spouse to you. Anyone who noticed
anything bad about your spouse 's act
and is not matured enough to intercede
through constant prayers to God for
intervention and direction is not qualified
to come into your home. protect your
heart and shut your ears against gossip. It
kills friendship, it kills marriage, ministries
as well as leadership and your
reputation. Don't gossip and don't listen
to any. Be mature. Be filled with the Word
of God. Those times you spent watching
Hollywood, Bollywood and Nollywood,
invest the time on studying and
meditating Holy Word of God. The
psalmist says" your word have I hidden in
my heart that I may not sin against You ",
Solomon wisely says " out of the
abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
". You can't be filled with the Spirit and
Life of God's Word in you yet go about
spreading gossip or listening to any. Set
your Standard in line with God's Word
and make your life boundary out of reach
for gossipers and don't be one. You can
always be renewed by the transforming of
your mind and through the help of the
Holy Spirit. Especially sisters, Save
your relationship, family, ministry,
reputation, leadership, friendship by
keeping your mouth safe and your ears
safely shut against any available gossip.
Another thing is don't be in a hurry to
believe any ill words about other people.
Remember that gossipers are fools
irrespective of position occupied
(Proverbs 10:18). It is a sign of spiritual
immaturity. The Bible says the wise
woman opens her mouth in wisdom, and
on her tongue is the law of kindness --
Proverbs 31:26
