Are you looking for a high end midsize SUX or a basic econobox?

just looking at the prestige that comes with it.

Unless you have a specific need for luxury then I would say get the corolla. You'll save on gas and maintenance.

As aforementioned, apples and oranges comparison. Both are Toyota branded vehicles (Lexus and Toyota). Both the two vehicles listed here serve far different purposes.

A Corolla is best for the OP if he is slow enough to even compare both cars That I strongly believe

To add to the quoted advice, the Corolla will fit perfectly with all the taxi on the street no one will even notice you spent money on the piece of junk just sit with your affordable roadside mechanic and you are back on the road.

Unfortunately some of the experts here don't know that RX300 is a luxurious SUV built by TOYOTA also better than highlander uses same TOYOTA parts but who cares fuel economy is the rave in Naija

I am just laughing at your comparisons, there is no where to start, as both cars are in different leagues.
Corolla is an economy sedan for moving around the city for people that want to get the best value for their money on fuel, while Lexus is the Premium brand that pushes the Luxury range of Toyota.

Better comparisons will be Corolla with Honda Civic, while you compare Lexus Rx with BMW X series or Mercedes ML
