Good evening

Please am abt acquiring toyota 4runner 2004 model. Please I need expert advise on the car, cost of maintainance, does it give regular gear problem? availability of parts. Please good advise will be appreciated

You want a short height SUV with high ground clearance that is very offroad capable while offering either 5 or 7 seater in reasonable comfort? Toyota 4runner Is your best bet.
With 3 trim level (SR5, sports and limited) each having 4 sub-trim based on engine V8 vs V6 and transmission choice 4x4 vs 4x2 (totalling 12. Trims)
For the limited you get more luxury gizmos and some pseudo wood and vinyl (pseudo leather) upholstery.

For the V6 2x4 models here is the spec sheet

Now here's the deal if you want on road speed, get the V6 its faster due to its 245bhp compared to the 230bhp of the V8, if you always tow cargoes, or equipment or intend to do very serious offroad, get the V8
