It was Miss Nigeria dat first started den and d winner used to rep Nigeria at miss world competition but later MBGN came which is organized by silverbird but d winner doesnt ve d chance to rep Nigeria in miss world but later d organization of miss Nigeria dissolved it making only MBGN winners to rep Nigeria in miss world n miss universe but in 2010 miss Nigeria came bk tru d former beauty queen Nike making it a scholarship scheme for students and each candidate rep dre exact state and dy do not wear swim suit unlike MBGN dat swim suit is allowed and u just rep a particular state.......MBGN shld b greater cos u rep ur country at international level
