toba: The funny thing about the show is that, its the viewers or fans that votes and do so most times bases on sentiments and not necessarily on merit.

If you missed the top 4, nothing for you. All you get is the clothes, accommodation and feeding during the competition.

gengen118: Well I strongly believe Geoffry won based on votes. Votes were counted. The probation incident was a wake up call for me and many other die hard Geoffry fans. The week b4 d probation was when he sang genesis , his popularity rose by a very high percentage and because of that the follwin week we didn't really vote for him believing on the huge fans , for instance that week I gave him jus 4 votes. So whn I saw him on probation I got scared, so did many other fans of his. So for this last week we voted crazy as in real big.am telling u this guy won based on votes and I thank GOD Majority agreed he deserved it. And to top it I actually followed all mtn pf facebook updates. Geoffry got the highest likes I think he has 1664 there about, followed by clement who had 1602 likes, followed by emeka, christain, rukky, daniella, debby and ugo. But I think emeka and clements fans got carried away so they didn't vote as much, jus check out christain and u all we agree that his fans meant business , his fan base grew and dey were determined to see him in top 4. So were Geoffry's fans. Pls our VOTES are usually counted in MTN pf.thank u all. GOD bless all who voted for Geoffry. Am so so happy he won.

Really now that u say it, emeka may have lost based on his trying to be insincere......he has a very unique voice but he didn't have to be smart by faking humilty...........I suspected him when he went on and on with the asking his mum about the crayfish she was selling....

People who fake sympathy and humilty just to get what they want are very dangerous

Geofrey didn't fake it, he was just being himself

I don't blame them sha... Its all about the "sharpest" guy. We have lots of rich and famous singers who wouldn't near a contest like ProjectFame because of poor/weak voices. Infact most artistes around here cannot handle live shows. People only pay to "watch" N100 CDs & speakers. E.g. Terry G, Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Davido, etc ...

Those with fine voices mostly end up as back up singers, church choiristers, and the likes.

You can not be so sure about this. Voting patterns have always changed for some contestants week in week out. I wonder why you are trying so hard to prove there was manipulation in the votes just because geoffery was once on probation. Geoffery being on probation could have been a wake up call for his fans, same way christian's fans went hard to make sure they guy won something. We all know how he was always on probation, while Clement wasn't, yet he beat clement and emeka who were hardly on probation.
So many things could have altered the voting patterns, their personal compositions could have been the game changer, their fans' determination, anything could.

If you admit he's the best this season why are you bent telling us he didn't have the highest votes.
