That's a good one, Sir. Government should trim down on unnecessary offices. This system is very expensive to run. Our economy needs to be diversified. Agriculture and tourism are alternatives. NYSC should be a time to help young graduates establish an outfit of their own. Admissions and scholarships should be strictly on merit. No special attachment should be given to 'state of origin.' Foreign involvement should be provided when corruption cases are investigated. LGs should be able to access more funds, not the trickle that come through the State G from the FG.

ultrazone: As citizens of this great country, we understand how gigantic our problems are, ranging from leadership, socio-economic, political, infrastructure, health, agriculture to education. Unfortunately, when we meet in offices, in gatherings, at newspaper stands etc, we spend most time analyzing the problems; lamenting and blaming others. A lot of people do not know their stand in the scheme of things. This is why everyone needs to understand the nature of our problems and contribute to solve them.

Let us build a huge directory of contributions which proffer solutions to our country's problems. Share your view even as we jointly find answers to our myriad of problems.

What would you have done if you were in our leaders' shoes?

That's a very important point, ma. Most of our problems are as a result of 'powerful' people feeding on the fault of the system.

Military, hmmm! I quite agree with you that our government reeks of indiscipline. Don't let's forget that democracy comes with strings of advantages. A perfect blend of military and democracy would do.

People Oriented Governance and Responsive Government !!

Government of Federal Republic of Nigeria should give Nigerians sense of belonging !!

Every Nigerians should know that whatever they do and wherever they are , the government is solely working for the citizens and they have the back of their government!!

All security agencies function for the Nigerians

All ministeries and Regulatory agencies function for Nigerians

etc

Through the above, Nigerians' mentality shall be re-orientated towards positivity !!

In a civilised country, yes. In a zoo like Nigeria, you need an advanced brain. Fortunately for Nigeria, Igbos possess such brains.
