A few years ago security analysts in the united states intelligence community forecasted That in the coming years (which is Now) Nigeria would be a safe haven for muslim jihadists from neighboring African countries, like somalia, sudan, mali etc, when these analysis was made available to the international community then it seemed as if it was just mere speculations, but today we seem to be coming to terms to this bizarre twist in the scheme of things facing our security as a nation, the popular "war on terror" phrase has come to Nigeria, and unfortunately the war on terror is an unending war, as long as there are religious extremists in this world terror can never cease, and to make matters worse Nigeria is not prepared to fight terrorism, because we never believed terrorism would ever come to our country, there are many aspects of the war on terror that many Nigerians do not understand, the war on terror is not about boko haram, it's bigger than boko haram and it's bigger than you could ever imagine, the war on terror is an industry a thriving business venture of capitalist imperialists. They sponsor these jihadists using different fronts, and they have begun their Nigerian campaign, and they won't stop until they see Nigeria fall on it's knees to beg them to put a military base here, Nigeria has become the new Afghanistan ladies and gentlemen, we have inadvertently bought into the war on terror, and it's a bad venture we've gotten ourselves into, our leaders are ignorant, and they seem not to care about the real problems we are facing, toyota, kia, or any other car manufacturing company would be reluctant to set up car manufacturing plants in Nigeria if bombs keep going off in major cities, the german consulate has advised all it's citizens to flee Nigeria, American flights to Nigeria has been reduced and stricter immigration laws have been put on Nigerians going to western countries, we have to start thinking of actual ways to curb the rate of insecurity in this country, our president has to stop being political about these extremists, there is no winning the war on terrorism because it's an unending war, Ask the Americans who started it, look at iraq, afghanistan, pakistan, libya, etc, we have to be frank with ourselves and seek for meaningful ways of curbing this. And one way is to curb religious extremism. Both from the christian and muslim parts of this country, because Religion is the root cause of our problems. How many Nigerians will have to die, before the Government realizes that the war on terror is just beginning, our leaders have to wake up and face reality, we will not move forward as a nation if we continue to allow bombs go off in our cities. Long Live The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
