How do u change(or alternate) with the spares during the course of the journey with all 5 of them coverin equal distances durin the course of the 1000km journey..... Chimex388: question 2 (explained/simplified) whats the answer to question one? |
Re: Very Simple But A Bit Technical. by emperorbanks(m): 7:53pm On Aug 01, 2014 |
Chimex388: for a tricycle to go 1000km, u need each tyre to travel same distance which results to a total of 3000km(3*1000)... since we hv 5 tyres(3+2 spare), each tyre wud cover 600km a piece.(3000/5) let's label d tyres T1 T2 T3 T4 and T5....T4 and T5 are d spare. you travel d 1st 400km wit T1 T2 and T3...then exchange (T1 and T2) wit (T4 and T5)...mind u,T1 T2 and T3 still has 200km left in them while T4 and T5 has 600km, which is the distance left of d rest of d journey. after 200km,replace T3 with T1, and after another 200km,replace T1 with T2..ceteris paribus this is how each tyre wud equally be effective wit u having to stop jus 3 times on ur journey. 1 Like |
