Framed for Good Works!
One of the Hallmarks of the new testament as
enacted by the blood of Jesus is the New
Creation. Unfortunately, it's also one of the
misunderstood. Often, we tend to define
ourselves according to what we do. In trying to
reconcile our immediate experiences with the
realities of God's Word, religion has spewed
forth terminologies like, 'Sinners saved by
Grace'. That's an underestimation of the Work
of Christ. God's Word reveals to us God's plans
for mankind in Christ Jesus in Ephesians 2:10,
'For we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.' This is
a most exhilarating scripture especially when
you study it in the original language. My
emphasis is on the word, 'created'. The word
'created' comes from the Greek Word, 'Ktizo'.
This is an interesting word! It means to,
'fabricate, manufacture, FRAME'. there are two
major words that are translated 'create' in New
testament Greek. The first is 'Ginomai' and the
other is 'Ktizo'. Ginomai refers to creation in
the light of 'a coming into being at a point in
history'. On the other hand, 'Ktizo' refers to a
'making, a manufacturing, a fabricating'. This is
Creation in the light of purpose. In this creation,
there is a kitting of everything necessary to
fulfill the purpose of why that thing is being
created. God says, 'We are his workmanship
created in Christ Jesus, unto Good works..'. I
am inspired! This means I am a New Creation
kitted, fitted and framed to produce good
works. This reminds me of Titus 2:14, 'Who
gave himself for us, that he might redeem us
from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a
peculiar people, zealous of good works.'
Wonderful! We are no longer depraved sinners,
but New Creations zealous for good works.
Someone is thinking, 'If this is really true, why
isn't this my experience? This is simple! You
just didn't know! Knowledge is transportational!
When you know the truth, you will be MADE
free! You are God's righteousness! Fellowship
with the Spirit, come before the mirror of God;
his Word! When you do, your immediate
experiences will be a reflection of the realities of
God's Word! # Pleroma
