TITLE : CHECK YOURSELF.

TEXT:Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is
in you, except ye be reprobates? II Corinthians 13:5(KJV)

Indeed, “The unexamined life is not worth living,” observed Socrates centuries ago. When you are sick, you are advised to see a
doctor. He will subject you to a check-up in order to determine what is wrong with you.
It is only a hypocrite that would assume that all is well when indeed things are going wrong.

Many self-styled young ‘born-again Christians’ of today live in sin, indulging in all kinds of evils (I John 2:15). When you rarely
examine your everyday life in the light of the Scripture and yet claim you are headed for Heaven, you are only deceiving yourself!

Take for instance; when you hang around with that boy or girl in immoral affairs, you are committing the sin of fornication. The only thing you can do to avert the wrath of God is to give up all sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour.

Challenge: Examine your life today and be sure of your spiritual status!
