iOmoge: Good day NairaLand,
please how can i make a new post for this.
I am writting this againt KONGA.COM
i paid for stuff through their site and received a confirmation that says transaction failed only for me to be debited.
my bank requested that i get a letter from Konga stating that the transaction did not pull through so i can get a refund.
I called KONGA Call centre so many times and they kept ending the call on me.
i spoke to one Uzoma, Jerimaih and Onyeka this morning and they kept ending the call even after accespting that they can see the debit on my account.
i am so not happy and want a refund.
i carried out this transaction on the 9th of July 2014
the amount is N11,975
my email is kofodavies@gmaildotcom
please who knows any channel i can use to get my money back as the call centre has proved to be full of people unwilling to assist.
all they do is drop calls on people even when u sound nice to them.
someone please assist me.
Konga no get corporate office? undecided

2sExy1: I will advice that if you have 2.2, apply to baker hughes. They dont look at your GP but what matter most, before applying, structure you CV very well and do as many research as possible.

Some of my friends are there already from last April recruitment, while some were asked to reapply

Did the take so much people from april..?

not really but that could have been the case. They told other that space had been fill up and that they should re-apply for the next one, which I guess is this one that is out.

Hope you have applied.

Am saying there is no point applying because I have no experience at all and am very sure if they are goin to employ about 16 like it or not they are going to choose those with little experience out of the pool of people with experience that applied and passed. Hey am not being pessimistic jst realistic but there is no harm in appying sha as for me I won't bother. Speaking for myself though dunno abt you.

i get ur point but i also think that the people that have experience were once inexperienced and still got employed. Experience does nt matter thats why is graduate field engineer

Experience matters. Its in the requirements. I don't have tangible experience but I'm applying anyway. Not applying gives me a 0% chance of getting called. I can't take that chance.

Experience does not matter. It is not factored in your grading.

Have you gone through the job specs? Do u think its only people who studied. Engineering that work as engineers in these big coys?
Have you talked to a current employee of baker hughes about these recruitments?
Did u see chemistry, physics, applied sciences as requirements under field service engineers?
If you didn't, then you have to go through the website again and probably talk to an employee. Instead of bringing false information here.
The. Requirement is a four year or above bachelors degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, geology or any other technical or applied sciences. If you have BSc, B.eng or Btech in any of the above and you have a 2.2 or above and you believe you are good enough, do take time to apply.

In addition you have relevant work experience (paid or unpaid), or you are able to demonstrate practical/technical capability through internships, summer jobs or hobbies.

At least three of the following:

•A minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0 (2.2) or equivalent
•Relevant work experience (paid or unpaid)
•Evidence of practical / technical capability, e.g. internships, summer jobs, hobbies
•Evidence of extra-curricular activity
•A valid driving license maybe required in some locations.

don't get me wrong pls,I was just trying to correct the young man, that engineers receive B.Eng/B.tech while sciences receive B.sc, that's all.was not talking about who is eligible for the job.so pls don't quote me.thanks!
