I felt so bad when I heard I was posted to Plateau, it was like a death sentence and the first thing I did was to google "bomb blasts in Jos" I was shocked by the incidents dt as happened in Jos including the ones that happened May this same here, anyway I'm trusting in God for his guidiance and protection on all of us,I'm sure we're gonna laugh last. Hoping to here from more peeps dt are posted to plateau aswell. 2 Likes |

I was posted to plateau and have been think all night about going at all cos am confuse of the situation plateau so unpredictable. Have made my mind to redeploy. |

I'm Emeka by name was born here in Jos, school here in Jos. I graduated this year from Unijos my dept wasn't mobilized for batch b so I'm waiting for batch C by God's grace. My advice for all the corpers posted here in Jos are: 1. pray for yourself before coming 2. Don't go out in a Crowded environment eg. market places or viewing center 3.Make sure you stay in an environment where people who practice your religion are in majority. 4. No unnecessary night paros. 5. Make sure you cover your body because the weather here is the same in Russia especially from November - march.. If you adhere to all these rules then you have more chances of surviving here. However, Plateau is a lovely place to stay things are very cheap here especially food stufs (Fresh tomatoes, potatoes, fruits and vegetables). However, Jos is a land soaked with blood but I pray your blood will not be part of it. ''My brother e no easy'' 2 Likes |

Plateau is a nice place. No place is Gud. All u need is wisdom! ..To conclude it, their occasional crisis doesn't affect youth corpers. But as my brother above said, u gotta avoid crowdy places, anti religious zone and night paroles. Above all, u gotta pray.. It was God's will that we all be sent there and therefore his angels have already been deployed down there to ensure our safety as usual. The most horrible can become the most celebrated. So don't ask God, why. ....Though the state doesn't pay a dime, but one thing is sure. Some of u shal be detained as permanent staff. After being detained, u can now work ir transfer out to were u think is cool for u. So no panic. We all shall enjoy the arena.. .Am Coming from Akwa Ibom, on monday.
