I'm sure the US has cure for HIV. Have always been saying this. If they could come up with serum for Ebola within few days of this epidemic why won't they have cure for HIV? Point is HIV is less dangerous than Ebola when managed properly, plus patients can live normally and even more healthier than peeps who are not on ART.
If they can't release cure for these communicable diseases they should, at the very least, come up with inoculations.. sad

Yes that's what I have been thinking.

Zmapp unleashed the ebola in Africa in order to give its drug quick recognition and make quick money.

Pharmaceutical companies do this sometimes

How come there has been no fatality in other continents outside Africa as concerns Ebola whereas there have been numerous outbreaks in the past in US, UK, Phillipines, Italy? Only in Africa have people died from the virus till date. Why did the liberian man travel to Nigeria, knowing fully well he had the virus? I think he was sent here on a mission, but God intervened, because if that man had entered the streets of Lagos like that...we'd be seeing a different scenario.

Whenever these people develop another strain of Ebola, they will come and test it out on Africa and give it another variant, hence Ebola Sudan, e.t.c. Maybe they want to create Ebola Nigeria now.

WARNING! stay away from taking any so-called 'vaccine' and 'lab test' cos it is the gateway to get a deadly infectious virus disease...there is no ebola virus or disease out there,it is just a smokescreen or a cover story for their(new world order) evil depopulation agenda via giving people 'vaccine'(death poison)...be careful people...a word is enough for the wise.

BedLam: It matters not if we like it or not, this is a wake up call for Africa! Stop praying and work! Get busy, research! Not just study for the papers that has no value. Nothing is free in this world, not in Freetown! What will it cost the Nigerian Government to commit 1billion$ to the research and development of Ebola drugs and vaccines? But no! we like being enslaved, waiting for the West.

suwailad: I believe the american doctors tested the virus on themselves and were expecting the serum (vaccine) but the stuff got too fast.well it will make much sense for america, they got the secret serum, more prestige, more power. The most evil thing that can happen is for someone to become a biological terrorist and attack usa with a deadly modified ebola. America is evil.

If you were to translate this theory into a novel, it won't sell beyond your street.

"No licensed specific treatment or vaccine is available for use in people or animals... No licensed vaccine for EVD is available. Several vaccines are being tested, but none are available for clinical use... No specific treatment is available. New drug therapies are being evaluated." -- WHO [World Health Organization, 2014]

A particular Nigerian Pharmacologist is among the sources of this misleading information that has gone viral. Saying that bitter-kola cures EVD and emphasizing that it is natural and has no side-effects or over-dose is simply wishful-thinking and playing on Africans' ignorance and gullibility! It is an unproven statement, and hence dangerous to the public! It's sinful to mislead people and offer false hope (all because of monetary gain) especially in deadly situations as this!

Liberia, presently suffering over a hundred deaths from this disease has Her Health Ministry warn, "calling on the public to report anyone or group of people administering vaccines supposedly for the prevention of Ebola or any form of drug or tablets, herbs or injection in the communities to the nearest police station" and "anyone caught administering fake vaccine or tablets and even spreading wrong information on the Ebola disease would face prosecution."

Don't let any unproven information make you careless. Protect yourself.

Well, do not blame the Nigerian pharmacist that did the kola research. He's been working on that experiment since 1989 and made that report in 1999. He never claimed that the kola-based therapy worked on animals or humans but that it showed promising signs of preventing ebola virus growth in vitro, ie under controlled lab test tube conditions. I only blame we Africans for reading the headline of a report fished out from fifteen years ago and running our mouths and social media-ready fingers , spreading false news that kola can cure the disease....
