Stephen Keshi has reportedly sent an official reply to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), confirming his decision to continue as the coach of the Super Eagles.

According to AfricanFootball, an assistant coach submitted Keshi’s notice of acceptance at the NFF office in Abuja.

Keshi’s previous contract ended following the African champions’ elimination from the 2014 World Cup and the Big Boss, who has been in charge of Nigeria for three years, was heavily linked with the South Africa job.

The former Mali coach, has reportedly asked the NFF to provide him with an official residence and car, as part of his new deal, while he has also told top officials that he wants to be paid on time.

Nigeria face Rwanda on September 7, in their first qualifying game ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

For continuity, it is good for Keshi and Eagles.I suggest Uche IK tenders a public apology to the Big Boss or kiss his Eagles' career bye.

I wholly endorse this move. We have an AFCON qualifier set for next month and no ready coach (no one can re-structure a team in a month). Keshi is the best for now.

In a couple of years, Garba should be ripe for the job and Keshi retired. That's the continuity we seek

Good for stability

But Keshi must now respect his job, talk less to the media and let the results on the pitch do the talking.

It's time for Keshi to build a known squad and a known system rather than gambling with new players at every major tournament.

Any players who he thinks will go to afcon 2015 he needs to start using them now to play qualifiers and frendlies

Welcome back, Big Boss.
Better, for continuity.
A major problem in Nigeria is lack of Continuity, a funny situation where we've gotten 4 NNPC GMDs within 4yrs.

Keshi without a technical specialist in his coaching team is like every mediocre African-based coach. Well it's like nigeria is only interested in winning AFCON

I'm telling you in confidence.
Keshi doesn't have a choice on this.
No other country was interested in his services.
South Africa has lost interest.
Refusing the offer is tantamount to being unemployed

Keshi will be like "I'm serving my country with all my heart"
