What would have been the scriptures in Jesus's days. He is quotes many times making referecnce to "The Scriptures" and even getting his facts wrongs. So when he spoke of theis scriptures, what did he really mean? Did he mean the Old Testament? The New Testament? Or some other extra-biblical sources?

@op, unfortunately nobody has been able to comment on it, until now. But it is not there fault.

Mmmmm, you have really asked a very good question, except the one you says, that Jesus often misqoutes. Jesus is always correct but the people that compiles his massages are the ones who misinterpreted it.

Mind you Jesus never wrote any book, except the one he was writing on the ground, when the pharisees was standing before him, seeking permission, before they can stone the adulterous woman was also standing in their mist, apart from that, Jesus Never write any book.

But all his apostles wrotes about him, except Judas, who was replaced with mathiar, yet mathiar also wrote about him, but where can you see those books today. Mmmmm.

Alots of prophets wrote a book about God and the coming of Jesus but only few were selected,
and even some of those which were selected were also edited, corrected and omitted.

The book you see today is not the complete bible.

So Jesus quotes the old testament, mostly Isaiah, and one of it is Isaiah 61. Which says the spirit of the Lord is opon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach the good tidings unto the meek.

And these old testament was devided into two parts, namely, The book of the prophets, and the book of Law.

This books is always kept with rabi, which is the teacher of the law, and you can always see it in their synagogues.

You should also ask, when, how, and where does Jesus reads this books. And you don.t see him with any, neither does he attend their school, and he was not even educated, which school did he attend

So these are one million and one questions we should be asking ourselves.

That will let you to know the position of Jesus.

Even all the entire new testament were all written because of him.

So no Jesus, no new testament.

Thank you.

Jesus was the Scripture. He is the Scripture now and He will forever be The Scripture. You are a Writer of the Words and yet you don't know these simple reasonings?
