Watch videos, know your subnetting, know your routing and switching protocols (OPSF, EIGRP, STP/PVST+, RSTP/RPVST+). Know how to implement some good network security, practice your ACLs, practice implementation of MD5 OSPF.

One big thing about the new CCNA and upcoming CCNP exams is that you need to know how to troubleshoot networks for problems, so I advise if you don't know your show commands (e.g. show ip ospf neighbors) best to learn them now.
