Congratulations to the Commander-In-Chief of Nigerian Armed Forces, Goodluck Ebelemiwa Jonathan. But sir, may I point out that it is quite disgraceful of your command to allow these Boko Boys to capture anything in the first place. dalu o.

This report is a lie from the defence HQ the same way they initially lied that they'v rescued the abducted chibok girls.

Damboa is still in the firm grip of Boko Haram so also is Gwoza and Bama

ITbomb: Sahara Reporters will never carry this one.

Nigerian troops have recaptured Damboa in Borno State from the hands of terrorists.

The Defense Head Quarter (DHQ) yesterday (9/8/2014) released photos of the movement of the brave military soldiers in the Local Government Area of Damboa.

DHQ in its press statement said, “While anticipating further updates from Nigerian military in their war against terror, attached are recent pictures from the operation and movements of troops in Damboa in Borno State.”

jmaine: Sahara Disreporters are purveyors of doom and gloom . . . .
Some of you guys are so full of it.

Must SR carry every news?? Besides, the OP said the source is "classified" which means it is not open to the public!!

SR would keep up their good works of exposing the rot in this hell hole especially under the current administration.
You lot should deal with it.

Brother

Do you remeber that the Nigerian army earlier told us that they did not loose Damboa to Boko Haram? The news we hear now is that the Nigerian army has recaptured Damboa; How can you 'recapture' a territory you did not loose initially?

The truth of the matter is that both Damboa and Gwoza are still in the complete control of Boko Haram
