Real Madrid will take on league rivals Sevilla in the 2014 UEFA Super Cup at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Tuesday.



Kick-off is set for 7:45pm BST. Live coverage of the match will be available on ITV 4.

Overview

The UEFA Super Cup clash is held between the Champions League and Europa League winners of the previous season. Real won Europe's elite club competition for the 10th time last season after defeating their derby rivals and La Liga champions Atletico Madrid 4-1 in the finals in Lisbon.

Meanwhile, Sevilla made it to the Super Cup after defeating Portuguese champions Benfica in last campaign's Europa League final. The Spanish club defeated Benfica on penalties earlier in May.

...but they still managed to beat Madrid early this year in a La Liga encounter. Though, Madrid will likely trash them now because they have lost two influential players (Mbia and Rakitic) whereas Real Madrid is even stronger than last season (With the coming in of Rodriguez and Kroos).
