His age definitely played a role. And we know nothing of his condition as at the time when the drug was administered. I hear doses are given at a three-day interval, and no-one even knows the right dosage yet. So there you have it: it's an experimental drug afterall.

It is possible he got it(and BTW...you might be right)...but it is still an experimental drug after all.

There is a reason why the makers were reluctant to give it out...it had never been tried on humans....and there was no indication it would work if tried. Plus....when you do not have info on safety and dosage....which is garnered from phase 1-3 trials....you are shooting in the dark as it were.

Let's bare in mind that this virus is African in origin according to published reports aand was first discovered in 1976 in Zaire. The Americans started working on the research from their military budget in an anti-biolocal weapons defense program. We Africans just siddon dey look. Now we are looking to the West for salvation.. Meanwhile African leaders are busy buying lavish things with all our money, leaving our education system to rot and not financing strong research into our domestic problems.
