Considering the hadeeth of the Prophet(SAW) regarding not travelling to or from a land wif epidermic; can a Muslim travel to or from Lagos in this period ? Scholars in da aus, pls elp ASAP! |

Note this is a personal opinion: One should refrain from travelling to Lagos for now. Lagos has been struck with the Ebola 'epidemic' and the prophet's hadith can't be clearer on the issue of epidemic. However, in these modern times when we have the facilities to ADEQUATELY QUARANTINE infected individuals and place secondary contacts under supervision, we may seek to understand the hadith in a different light. So I FEEL if you are confident about the measures put in place by govt to stem the spread ( confident of your safety) and your business in Lagos is urgent that cant wait, you are free to go. 2 Likes |
