I rather use hand gloves than use that inefective hand sanitiser. It has zero effect on ebola virus.

Dem no wan contact Ebola and die. Whereas, their policies are killing Nigerians daily.....

I think this meeting should have been held 3 months ago when Ebola hit West Africa but better late than never.... Proactive leadership is still alien to us

As for Nigerians that can't afford hand sanitizers, proper washing of hands with soap is the best and works better than antibacterial gels....

Cluelessness is a plague worse than Ebola. How many Nigerians can identify that automated soap dispenser as a hand sanitizer knowing that they have never seen one before, and the government is unlikely to install same in public facilities? The sanitizer masses are likely to see in the market are manually operated bottled ones. A clear thinking leader would demonstrate using a recognizable hand sanitizer to set an example, otherwise what is the point of a demonstration?

By the way, hand sanitizer is the same thing as hand wash (anti-bacterial soap). That device is simply a motion-activated soap dispenser.

But serious I heard the alcohol in the sanitizer deactivates or kills the virus just as the virus can't tolerate temperatures above 60°

Washing your hand is part of the preventive measures by WHO. Water cannot be available everywhere you go and it is good to use hand sanitizers instead. Ebola has a poor livability rate when exposed and coupled with hand saniterzers there is a chance of getting rid of it survival on the hands, I guess.
