The corn flour milling is a systematic and complete process including six steps: screening, water conditioning, storing, crushing, milling and packing.

1. Screening

Corns are put into the feeding hole first, the input quantity is controlled by the feeding hole flapper. Then they are sent to the de-stoner and sieve which will screen out some impurities smaller than corn kernels like dirty and sands. The screened corns will again be through the coarse sieves, selecting out the impurities bigger than the materials.

2 .Water Conditioning

The corns flow into the dampener in which corn kernels and water are fully stirred.

3. Storing

Before mill the corn into flour with corn flour milling machine, they are sent to the storage barrels for temporary, whose aim it to guarantee the next feeding with a uniform flow.

4. Crushing

There are baffles in the discharging holes of the storage barrels, which can adjust the discharging flow. Corns come into the crushing machine through discharging holes to get preliminary crushing. Some corn surface is separated from the corn germs.

5. Milling

Then with the help of elevators, the crushing grains are sent to the germ selecting machine where corn surface is separated from corn germs, which discharged by different discharging holes. This is the most important step for corn flour milling machine.
