obiscolly: grin people be like #teamAndroid but deep down they so want a Blackberry 10 device. They be checking their data consumption and switching data on and off every now and then tongue Live a hustle free life. Get a BB10. You can always run all of your android apps on bb10. So that a win-win! wink

100 likes.I have so many friends in this category...yet they claim bb is for children, deceiving themselves up and down.hmmm.

Android seems to consume data cos some apps run in the background.

To cut that, go to setting, then to data usage and set limit. Tap on apps with high data usage and see if the app consumes data in the background. If it consumes, check restrict background data esp if you don't want it to run in the background.

Typical culprit is Google play but you can uncheck it when you want to download. #TeamAndroid

It's obvious most Nigerians are clueless in regards to technology or networks. In terms of speed, functionality and excitement, my Samsung Galaxy S5 beats the dust out of any BB10 phone. If you are talking about data consumption, blame the useless networks such as Glo, MTN and the rest. If you are a proper Android user, you would know how 2 configure your phone to enjoy the excitement without going overboard on data. For BB10 users, apart from chatting and social media, I doubt their phones are capable of doing half of what Android phones are capable of without freezing. For example, try running a simulation game such as (Texas Hold em) and try to skype at the same time, this would be impossible on a Blackberry phone but a piece of cake on My Galaxy S5......End of discussion!

Blackberry is good especially the Z & Q family. They use the same data though, BB compresses data b4 redirection and it is not so secured hence relevant data can be compromised in their database. Android is What u put u see. No 3rd party.

ok it is something like a personal wifi service. . It provides fast and affordable data. . My whole family makes use of it.....it costs 10k to buy the dongle. . . And the subscription costs 7k. . .24hrs 20gig.
