Programming Oniosun Ayodele AKA Dlastofmykind Code Neatness: 10% of 15% Naming Conventions: 10% of 15% Code Indentation: 7% of 15% Rules Adhering: 13% of 15% Official Rules: 6% of 10% Project features: 6% pf 10% Extra features: 3% of 5% Unbroken code and links: 10% of 10% Successful check: 2% of 5%(you couldnt check in, but good readme) Remarks: I registered my first username: sisqology, i forgot my password, no option to reset yet you did not tell me to enter my password twice! You are using md5, learn how to has passwords well, its a failure. What if i have an access to your db as a hacker, it means i can easily decrypt your md5 if I have knowledge of a lot of data structures, algorithms and data encryption WHenever I enter an invalid value in a form, I get to anothe rpage and I have to press back on my browser to refill. I can access localhost/calculate_tax.php(this shouldnt be possible) ============================================================================= Babalola Adedoyin AKA dyweb Code Neatness: 9% of 15% Naming Conventions: 12% of 15% Code Indentation: 14% of 15% Rules Adhering: 13% of 15% Official Rules: 6% of 10% Project features: 7% pf 10% Extra features: 3% of 5% Unbroken code and links: 3% of 10% Successful check: 2% of 5%(Bad read me) Remarks: Your code fails to run most times; I had to edit and modify to get it running, read on how to use relative paths your links are broken. You have used md5 to hash your passwords; wrong! ============================================================================= Olajide Afeez AKA Jidez007 Laravel Code Neatness: 13% of 15% Naming Conventions: 13% of 15% Code Indentation: 14 % of 15% Rules Adhering: 13% of 15% Official Rules: 8% of 10% Project features: 7% of 10% Extra features: 3% of 5% Unbroken code and links: 10% of 10% Successful check: 3% of 5%(Bad readme) Remarks On registration page, you shouldn’t have selected occupation “Teacher” as default, so as sex as “male”; Your remember password is not working, why include it? Bad titles, neat error messages. Why do I have to go to "/public" to see your project? I like the concept of your password handling, with an option to reset password ============================================================================= Folayemi Bello AKA phourxx Python(Django) Code Neatness: 14% of 15% Naming Conventions: 13% of 15% Code Indentation: 14 % of 15% Rules Adhering: 13% of 15% Official Rules: 9% of 10% Project features: 7% of 10% Extra features: 3% of 5% Unbroken code and links: 10% of 10% Successful check: 5% of 5%(Good readme) Remarks Why do I have to update my occupation every time I login since I have inputed my occupation when I was registering? Your forgot password page, you left options of username, new password, confirm new password. Does it mean I can reset anyone's password? On registration, you did not tell me to enter my password twice, whereas, I mistakenly typed 111 as my password during registration instead of 1111; how do I retrieve? Your python knowledge is good and you have a solid background. Keep it up ============================================================================= Temidayo Temitope AKA babadee Python Code Neatness: 12% of 15% Naming Conventions: 12% of 15% Code Indentation: 15 % of 15% Rules Adhering: 2% of 15% Official Rules: --% of 10% Project features: --% of 10% Extra features: --% of 5% Unbroken code and links: --% of 10% Successful check: 1% of 5%(No readme) Remarks You did not read the project scope; we are targetting web apps for now, you have done a console app, so what do we do? I guess it may not be fair on others? but the ones judged were just by reading your codes Submitted date(s) Dlastofmykind submitted via email on 26/7/14 babadee submitted on 1/8/14 Jidez007 submitted on 26/7/14 dyweb submitted on 1/8/14 phourxx submitted on 29/7/14 Dlastofmykind and jidez007 will share 15points bonus 7.5points each Dlastofmykind = 10+10+7+13+6+6+3+10+2+7.5 = 74.5points babadee = 12+12+15+2+1 = 42points Jidez007 = 13+13+14+13+8+7+3+10+3+7.5= 91.5points dyweb = 9+12+14+13+6+7+3+3+2 = 69points phourxx = 14+13+14+13+9+7+3+10+5 = 88points Winner: Jidez007 Second: phourxx |
