F117A: why are you people always defending america?
Are you being paid?
I wouldn't mind getting paid for that.
She is not defending America. She is defending common sense.. I bet you wouldn't know what that means...

Do we have pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria? Did they all outsource manufacturing to India & China? Anyways, chemical formula of the Zmapp drug should get given to the Indians, we will have the drugs in abundance within 1 month.

Nigeria is not important to the US? Have we really focused so much on our problems that we fail to see the progress we have made? Nigeria is failing in the eyes of common Nigerians, I understand but the economy is progressing to the outside world. The dark continent of Africa is slowly regaining her lost glory. Nigeria is it's trigger and powerhouse. So please, Nigeria (not going to add the low-sulfur content of our oil) is important to any serious-minded developed nation wanting to do business in Africa

Let me ask you:

Who has been buying every inch of Nigerian land they can grab? The answer is Asians and Middle Easterners.

Who UTTERLY dominates almost every industry in Nigeria? Europeans. Asians.

Tell me, precisely, and in detail, how critical Nigeria is to America compared to the above.

Also, tell me why despite the above, America is the only one in the world on this secret mission to... what exactly? Kill everyone? Make everyone gay? What exactly would that do? I'm tired of reading the same tripe, I want to understand the logic behind this. What happens after the Ultimate Gay Mission is complete? Or Operation Kill Nigeria?

I want details this time. Let us know.

Don't give yourself a migraine for a country you ain't a citizen of. Jealous is a strong word which I never really used in my comment. Why it came to your mind raises lots of questions. I really care about you, so I'm going to ask; are you a troubled and insecure person?

But why can't Africans experiment the imported zmapp to develop their own

zmapp is an extract of natural antibodies, its power doesnt lie in its chemical properties.
Chemical analyses wont fulfil nothing.

My dear friend, have you heard of patent before? do you think you can just get peoples product and reproduce it?

you guys should read, you can't just reproduce someone else's product. they have what is called patent, and only those companies reserve the right to produce. If you try to reproduce same product, you can be sued for all the money you made.

this is very embarrassing. what about the nano silver thing? has that been tested?
at least what they should do with the zmapp is to study it and produce their own to help hundreds. not use up all the doses on 3 patients.

There is a reason why the united states is world power. There is a reason why we are a 3rd world country. So get it into ur thick skull that we are not yet upto to the point where we can help ourselves. Else we will ve been a 1st world country. America owe every democratic nation a helping hand. Afterall they are the once who want to run the world.

I am smarter and better than you. If you like, come and tell me I owe you because of that, see if I won't use a cane on your silly bottom.

@MissMeiya, I'm co-opting Ultimate Gay Mission, that line is too sweet, lol!

We had UniIbandan's virology lab, we had Irrua Specialist Hospital, even LUTH, all functioning years ago.

But rather than develop, Nigerians CHOOSE to live in ignorance. I used to get upset till I realised Nigerians preferred to be ignorant.

We distrust anyone who is very smart, intellectual or even reads a book because we are physically hardworking but mentally stu.pid.

Case in point: I announced how much it would cost for latex gloves, face-masks and a full hazmat suits (I didn't add a kobo, we were even going to pay shipping ourselves). I said we should donate it to our hospitals, because if our hospital staff was protected, our chance of survival was high.
NOT ONE PERSON SHOWED. Infact, the only people that agreed were atheists (and I'm not one). One said to me "if you had been a pastor calling for special offering against diseases, you would gotten the money in a week, max".

The rest were too busy screaming Ultimate Gay Conspiracy CIA Mission and Operation Kill A Country Too Stupid To Fund Malaria Research Even Talkless of Ebola.

As in, walai, Nigerians' sense of entitlement is magnificient. Dear Nigerians, stop thumping on your chest, you're a giant of Africa in your mind only. If you were truly respected, you wouldn't be begging for visas from every country, Arabs and Asians won't be building your roads, running better healthcare facilities than you, running your telecomms companies, running your television cable companies, running almost everything infact while you are begging for visa to go and wash plate in Hungary sef and insulting the US of A.

You'll see, after this outbreak, someone will say "let's fund hospital care instead of offerings and insist GEJ only win 2015 if he builds a fully functional research lab for common malaria and measles" and Nigerians will scream "that's stealing from God! My pastor deserves a private jet! GEJ till infinity, APC is out to destroy him!" Blah blah blah...

And it is NEVER our fault, we are under-developed because a Western country wants to "hold us down", because China Qatar and Malaysia, they got tired of trying to "hold them down", abi? We went from making tanks in Biafra to importing bullets, from exporting the world's supply of Groundnuts to importing even paper. And it is STILL NOT YOUR FAULT YOU HAVE FALLEN SO LOW.

2 years ago, I nearly cried when I couldn't get Nigerians to donate for scholarships to give some LASG govt-run highschool kids (who had built systems to recycle plastics into energy or reusable materials). I couldn't get people to volunteer to refurbish a school in Ajegunle. I struggled to find people willing to sign up to organise a summer teaching camp for any child, priviledged or under-priviledged (so as to teach them more than our obsolete education syllabus). Nigerians would either want to hear gist of what I was saying, then send bc or tweet and clap for themselves that that had achieved much or would happily tell me while those schemes would fail, without offering solutions.

Seriously, China should come and colonise us. Africans are helpless, foolish children, we don't understand freedom or how to use it. We certainly are not worthy of the resources God has given us. And even worse, we are shamelessly happy about our ignorance.

You seem to have been watching the American interest on Nigeria movie very closer; I'm greatly impressed. Be that as it may, I'm surprised you chose not to watch the last African summit or you probably don't want to bring it up here. Unlike most people who fault America, I take my grievance at all nations that won't let Africa be. Buying lands in West and East Africa in the name of agriculture are ways to infiltrate into our economy and have control. Has America done this to Nigeria yet? The answer is no (not in the same magnitude). Now let's bring the African summit here. In the words of former president Bill Clinton "although the conventional wisdom is that Africa needs the United States far more than America needs Africa, the reality is that the U.S. business community needs this relationship as much or more as Africa and its business community...We are missing the boat...This is a very important part of our future..." Does the boat they are missing refer to helping to develop Africa and make Africa great? It's rhetorical, don't answer. Bill answers himself by stating how important it is to their future.
He who rules Africa will rule the world! This is a truthful saying and worthy of all acceptation. Nigeria is the giant of Africa. Bill was not saying America should start looking towards Africa, No. This would suggest they have never been here. We know they have been here. They help promote the Egyptian riots, helped with the Libyan crisis by asking for oil Wells in exchange for funding the rebels, etc. Clinton was calling for a newer approach, one without violence and obvious game plan. Let's do it like China and the middle east. They use business and industries to infiltrate. Let's trick the Africans like others into believing we care when we only want to make sure oppositions won't rise against us in the future.
Mi'lady, I tire from typing..

...and no, I won't tell you the endgame. It always kills the spirit of the movie.

One of my greatest frustration is reading about master con artist and villains who use what would seem like prefect intelligence but in negative way to rob and pillage.

The same applies to you. You appear as someone learned and seemingly exposed but then you wrote the above obtuse and nonsensical thesis.

I agree 100%.

At what point did we become so s.tupid?

I actually shed hot tears for the ignorance of Nigerians.

We can't contribute money to causes that will improve our lives and the future of our kids, yet give out so much to religious leaders to fund their expensive lifestyles.

Do you think of the future of your kids? What will Nigeria be like in 50 years time if we carry on this way?

Like someone suggested in another thread, the best way forward might be to blow up the entire nation save for about 200,000 with the highest IQ and no religious/tribal bias and start afresh. Harsh but I have to agree. I am sick and tired of Nigeria and the people.

I travelled on the Lagos Ibadan expressway on Thursday and I saw what appeared to be an ordinary Israeli person who was working as a foreman being guarded by an armed police officer.

Can't we find a Nigerian company or form a national road building company that can build roads instead of wasting our foreign exchange money of hiring foreigners?

We have a long way to go as a country.

I can relate to all you said but hope is not lost.
The genes/DNA of our immediate forebears who had a reasonable measure of progress and orderliness up to January 1966, when Nzeogwu's misadventure opened the floodgate for other impatient &clueless COUPISTS, are still in us. We shall get back there and proceed further once we get next year's electionS sorted out.

Now the incoherent method and manner that you compose your writings seems to indicate that you should probably spent your efforts on bette self development.

On your second point, this ridiculousness of what you wrote requires no response as it shows that you're wither well lubricated or getting there.

Good day.

When I read this I have tears in my eyes because it is so sad that young people who make something very good has no chance that they can go to the University.

I read just yesterday a story from an orphant in Liberia, who got the chance from SOS Child village to go to school and that this organisation help her that she could go to the University, and all what she want now is that she can help other orphants that they have a chance to get a better life.

I hope that nigerians wake up to see what is important, to see that donating to hospitals will safe life because this is more christian than to donate to your jetflying pastors who will tell their followers Ebola is a demon, and that from a MOG who was a professor at an University in Nigeria, first I feel he was only heartless but now I see that he is only a businessman and a disgrace for a real christian.
The celebrities in Nigeria should also show that they can donate and they can start a campain like we have it in my country where Alaba (we are proud of him, a black Austrian) ask people in Austria that they should donait to a special program tho get more infomation about a special skinproblem and that they could find help for them ( butterfly skin) something like that must be posible in Nigeria.

Na wah for your nationality assessment capabilities oh cheesy You see oyinbo man for road come sabi sey im na Israeli lipsrsealed
Meanwhile I thought we were told that there is no work going on for the road. It would be nice to have photo-based thread on the update.

Nigerians say No to showbiz Christianity

could it be possible that we start a campain over facebook that nigerians who want to change something that we say now to showbiz and business christianity perhaps a person could make a small poster and I know when we start with this over Facebook and twitter it will help and nigerians will wake up and nigerians will get their brain back.

This cost nothing and it could help that nigeria become a better nation.
With such posters also about corruption we could start.

One of my greatest frustration is reading about master con artist and villains who use what would seem like prefect intelligence but in negative way to rob and pillage.

The same applies to you. You appear as someone learned and seemingly exposed but then you wrote the above obtuse and nonsensical thesis.
Since you are the judge here, I won't waste words. You are entitled to your opinion of events. As an optimist, Nigeria will prevail!

1) I am well travelled and thus have a high degree of success in determining nationalities. I work in a company with many different nationalities which gives me an exposure to be abel to determine nationalities.

2) There was a hold up, my drivers was stopped right by him and I overheard him on the phone talking to someone on his cellphone in his language (in between him shouting directions to his Nigerian employees).

PS: He is not really an oyinbo per see but I know even ordinary Lebanese is oyinbo to the average Nigerian.

I have submitted the pictures you requested to prove that there was construction going on. I have videos too just in case I might be accused of photoshopping angry

I am not a judge but an observant and yes with an opinion.

It is a forgone conclusion that Nigerians (not Nigeria per see) will prevail but the issue being debated has always been at what cost.
