Adebayo Faleti Is Dead? by Nobody: 2:09pm On Aug 18, 2014
A friend just called me that Baba Adebayo Faleti has joined his ancestors

RIP Baba...your literature and dramatic artworks speak volume

Anxiety mounted on Monday over the health of veteran poet, writer and author, Alagba Adebayo Faleti following rumoured reports on social media that he had passed on.
Within hours, the rumour had flown as far as possible with thousands of people across the world praying for the repose of his soul.
Street Journal’s findings however revealed that just like the tales of ill health that trailed him months back, the news of Baba Faleti’s death was untrue.
One of his sons confirmed to Street Journal that “Baba is hale and hearty. He is alive and well.” The family later came out to debunk the rumour.
Faleti, who had his secondary education at Ibadan Boys’ High School was born to a palace bard in Oyo. He took up a job with the famed WNBC-WNBS decades ago and he was a regular face on the station’s Yoruba news, Iroyin back then.
He has taken part in lots of home videos and television productions.
