I would like to get a car on hire purchase from any dealer who could be willing to do such for me.

I am looking at getting either a '99 or '96 Toyota Camry, my budget is N900k.

This is the deal: Such dealer would give out the vehicle with a certain percentage as mark-up on the cost of the car (say 10%) and I'm willing to be paying N100k every month till the whole amount is fully liquidated.

The dealer will be in custody of the vehicle papers and has the right to repossess the car if there is any default or breach of agreement.

It is my duty to ensure that the vehicle is well-maintained at all times and the conditon of the vehicle will be presentable.

I work with a reputable company and as such repayment won't be an issue because of regulay payment of salary. I'm fully committed to repay back within 9 months (subject to the cost of the car and agreed rate).

Please I know that some finance houses and banks do these but we all know that their rates are cut-throat which I don't intend to put my neck into.

So I'm looking for a dealer whom we could reach an agreement on a flexible (monthly) payment until the car is fully paid for and original papers given to me.

I'm willing to provide credible guarantors if need be to further back up my credibility and credit worthiness.

Why not apply for a bank loan? A friend of mine applied through Bankphb and he got himself 2006 corolla..I'm sure no reliable dealer can help you here

you really dont know how to beg for favor and do bussiness, such case car that is 900k will be sold for 1m since you are paying 100k each month, i cant give you a car and expect you to pay back in nine month without no gain

I am an Accountant and I fully understand the time value of money coupled with inflationary factors.

It is not advisable to take up bank loan for buying a vehicle (be it new or Tokunbo). Their interest rats are not friendly at all.
