“Train up a child in the way he should
go; and when he is old, he will not
depart from it.’ Proverb 22: 6.
When any man fail to train up his child in the ways of the Lord, there is every tendency that the child will follow the ways of the wicked ones. He will not grow in the fear of the Lord. This can make his ways to be rough. A child’s life marks the beginning of the journey of it. If directed, will be better but the reverse is the case when none cares for his proper upbringing.
This was so with the story of Anthony Ogelenya Odili, a native of Emu-ebendo Kwale in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, born in Ugbaja in Rivers State, Nigeria in the year 1951. Her mothers name is Victoria Odili. His family was a law rated and timid heathenic one which at the initial stage, do not embrace any religious belief in the Land. Anthony Ogalanya Odili was trained by his parent.
