BRAV0O: Kudos to human race! It is true that we Nigerians like other black people are individually, equally gifted members of the human race as our longer-nosed fellow homo sapiens. However the TRUTH remains that we have contributed NOTHING to any of the aspects of modern life & living, which we SHAMELESSLY enjoy yanfu, yanfu. Simply look around you BTW, where did you get OUR pesticide from 1 Like |

If South Korea and China could go from worse than Nigeria to first world countries..........why not Nigeria.? 1. The drug has only been made for lab tests so far – not for countering an epidemic I hope you read the article. 2 Likes |

As I told someone else on another thread....we vote them in...then we go home and sit down....forgetting that in a democracy....voting is just one half of the job.The other half is to remind the elected leader why we voted him or her in constantly.....so that s/he would get scared and perform! 5 Likes |

slimdiggi: Why is this news to us? Our own doctor died... Exactly my Thoughts! Our Doctor was sick, their own Doctors were also sick! Both require treatment. They allowed their own Doctors to use the "risky experimental ZMapp" ..and he eventually got healed. We requested for just a few doses to treat our own God-given Dr. Adadeivo ....but they refused to share it with us! Instead, they sent it to Liberia. Now, our own Doctor has died (and for every Doctor that dies, many lives will follow, as she could have saved close to 50,000 lives in her life-time, she she were to be ALIVE!) Honestly, if we are half as smart as the Apes which the White Americans call us, we would begin to IMPROVE OURSELVES and CHOSE OUR FRIENDS CAREFULLY! Lastpage! 2 Likes |

Dr. Ameyo Adadeivo, that you laid down your life, to save millions of Nigerians who would have been infected and consequently die if that Devil of a Mr. Sawyer was allowed to escape, (just like he escaped Quarantine in Liberia, to infect Nigerians), will be remembered in the hearts of this generation and those to come. Where your soul is now, l cannot access but l know the Lord remembers every 'good deed' and yours was second only to that of Jesus Christ! I declare you A SAINT right away! YOU are my Hero, forever! Love you to bits ..... but rest in the bosom of the Lord. Lastpage! 2 Likes |

lastpage:Mind you, officials from American Centre for Disease Control were fully on ground in Lagos giving expert advice on viral isolation procedures. On another note, one of the three doses of zmapp in Liberia was giving to a Nigerian doctor infected there... Thirdly they warned us accordingly when we were about to be scammed by some American colloidal silver manufacturer. There are countless volunteers from the West in the ebola ravaged countries helping to check the outbreak... Lastly, Americans identified ebola and have invested millions of dollars and resources to get a cure or vaccine for a disease that is not endemic in their own land. They've done enough, man.... 6 Likes |

GenBuhari: Propaganda - he never had Ebola He did....here is the reason why he survivied 1.He had early supportive treatment....recommendations by WHO state that as soon as the patient is diagnosed....the treatment with IV fluids, antibiotics, etc must start early. 2.Patients with a particular immune response do better than those without that particular response. That was the result of a study done on Gabonese patients.; in brief patients with an Immunoglobulin type M based response survive. Also, those who are deficient in the NPC-1 receptor on their cells survive Ebola. 3.Finally, the patient recieved an infusion of serum from the survivor of Ebola fever....a young black Liberian. 4.And it must be noted he was one of several hundred survivors...... No conspiracy.....just some good science . 2 Likes |

Dee60: Why blame America for using American drug to treat An American? You are spot on. Let any of this useless Nigerians in power or their oligarch partners in corruption develop any kind of sickness , they run abroad for treatment in a second. Their lap dogs in Nigeria are suffering and smiling while the whole country is going down everyday . America uses their wealth to improve their country while Nigeria's wealth is being shared by few cabals like a family property . God wiil judge all that have make Nigeria a laughing stock in the community of nations. 3 Likes |

So, all the people who have died in Liberia never had ebola too abi? Patrick sawyer never had ebola, abi? this doctor that was taking care of ebola patients never had ebola abi? meldeezyne: ABIDJAN (Reuters) - An American doctor who contracted Ebola treating victims of the deadly virus in Liberia has been released from a U.S. hospital after receiving treatment with an experimental drug, his charity said on Thursday. Kent Brantly was given ZMapp, a trial drug used on a handful of patients in the West African outbreak, and flown to the United States this month. He was released from Atlanta's Emory University Hospital, according to a statement from Samaritan's Purse. Re: American Doctor Treated For Ebola Released From The Hospital by Nobody: 6:27pm On Aug 21, 2014 |
bushdoc9919: This is an ethical question and a very important one at that. there is no right answer and policy makers always have to meet and deliberate on issues like this every single time they are faced with it. no textbook readymade guideline. however, there are a few reasons why you might want to give the doctors (or other healthcare workers). First is that they probably would not have contracted the disease if they were not caring for already infected people to start with. So given the fact that they chose to put their lives on the line despite knowing the risk involved, they should get priority. secondly, if you were to save one doctor, he could potentially go on to save a whole lot of other patients but if you saved a patient, he is not much use to other patients so the patients in the long run are not better off. this is sometimes called the utilitarian approach, where you seek to maximise the benefits given limited resources 2 Likes |

Ebola epidemic in West Africa is a hoax Can you imagine that all this publicity and hysteria is because 3 or four people have allegedly died from an alleged disease that is allegedly less contagious than measles? and less deadly than rabies. Shine your eyes. The reason the american Doctors "survived" is to promote the experimental vaccines / drugs or whatever, they want to use to experiment on a panicked Nigeria / West Africa either for the purposes of find willing experimental laboratory "guinea pigs" to test dangerous medicines on or to eventually make profits selling us dangerous fake vaccines which lead to far more actual deaths than the hoaxed deaths they are claiming Ebola is responsible for. bushdoc9919: |
