Please ensure you Share this information. Today I want to share with you 6 business ideas that will provide you with some funds and also support you through your days in school, most of the students sometimes find it difficult to get some stuffs done while in school due to some financial challenges. There are some parents that get easily offended when their wards request for money to get some things done while in school, some parents even think that it is all about paying their wards’ school fees and that is all, they think their wards are trying to cheat on them if the request for more funding after school fees payment, there are much more things to be done while in school financially after paying your fees. As a student with great goals to achieve, you must not depend fully on your parents financially when there are a lot of things to be done there on campus to get some funding for your academic activities, your parents are not there with you to know your needs, this implies that they may think you are trying to play over their intelligence by requesting for more money for your needs. Let’s get down to the business of the day. Here are six (6) things you should do to get you some money on campus. *Start tutoring your fellow students As a university or polytechnic student, you may be good in a particular course that your fellow students see as a challenge in their academic, organize a tutorial class for them and start tutoring them. Charge them a particular amount you wish to take from them. In higher institutions, especially in surveying and some engineering departments, most of the courses they teach is full of drawings, if you are good in drawing, help them out with the drawings and charge them for your service, when you can mostly achieve this is when the lecturer gives an assignment to be submitted in probably days or weeks time, the ones that are not really good in drawing will be lamenting on how to get the assignment done pending the submission date. Don’t sit down to watch them lamenting when you know that you can be a solution to their problem, get the assignment from them and get it done for them, charge the for the service, but make sure you charge the a moderate price so they can pay you, after all, they are also students like you. *Offer Transportation services for your fellow students Why I ’m bringing in this particular idea is that most of the tertiary institutions in Nigeria have two (2) or more campuses which will involve transporting from one campus to the other. Your dad might probably have an abandoned car which there is nothing really wrong with it. Get a mechanic to fix the car for you and use it for inter campus micro transportation business. The school might have a bus for this, but most of the students may not be comfortable going with it, they will rather pay you to transport them to the other campus for their academic activities. You must not allow this number two (2) means of getting extra money to interfere with your own academic programs, do it in your spare time and make sure you balance the business with your education not forgetting that the cardinal thing that brought you that campus was not to make money but for your academics. *Be a career counselor If you are good in communication, probably you are a communication art student, you can meet with the employers and recruiters on and off the campus, ask them questions about the qualities they may desire to have in their job applicants, after getting the required information from them, you can come back to your school to hold a mini seminar, counseling them about their different careers and what they should expect to get from their employer. *Organize a Party for the students Most people love party, that may serve as a source for them to cash fun while on campus, you can make good money from this if you can get good DJ to play in your parties. You can also organize a party that involves singers, comedian and entertainers generally. *Sports and fitness training You may be good in a particular area of sports or may be fitness training, there may be students who would also love to be as good as you are in a particular area of sport that you are already a professional. Offer to teach them and charge them for it. *Graphic design services If you have the knowledge about graphic design, you should not be lamenting about money while on campus. Go ahead and help your fellow students in beautifying their project work or seminars. Also, there are a lot of events that will be happening on campus that will need a graphic designer, events like student union government elections, which will involve designing of flyers, posters and other things. As a graphic designer, avail yourself of those opportunities and make more money for yourself. Now that you have the idea of what to do while on campus to keep your life going, get up and start implementing these ideas and see the outcomes you will have. How would you rate these ideas, please use the comment section to share your own thoughts with us, perhaps if I have omitted some of the ideas you think should have been included.. http:// http://skyreloadz.tk/forum2_theme_110758716.xhtml?tema=55 |

Am a testimony to the last option. I personally financed myself (school fees+other expenses etc) throughout my university years * 5years course *Enginerring Related) and full time with graphic design. Made a final G.P of 3.43 after graduation There are several challenges that has to be overcome, but provided you good @ it, you can never get broke. Currently serving in Ekiti state and i still design for for a living, Allowee is just a bonus to design money. My advice: Learn the graphic design trade, master it and create a good network with potential clients....@ the end of it all, (God) will surely crown your effort with greatness. Stay Focus, work smart. |
