Are we getting addicted to social networks??
These days in secondary schools, dont be surprised to find a student writing something like 'aw ar u' (how are you) all because of social networks (2go,facebook,eskimi etc) that they spend hours on..which in turn affect their education ....i think this social network of a thing is getting out of hand. What do you guys say?

The silly part of it is that some of the trendy spellings are longer than the right one which makes me wonder why they do that.

Yeah. Maybe most of these people don't know the correct spellings of words so they tend to replace it with that gibberish to coverup

That's a possibility. Most times when people send me a message with such I politely tell them I don't appreciate it and if you choose to continue, I don't reply you.
