Seem not to understand why this test is recommended for pregnant women. I know Rh Factor to be an inherited trait that refers to a specific protein found on the surface of red blood cells; and it does not affect health. Why then or when does it become necessary for pregnant women to undergo this antibody screen? Your professional help is well appreciated in advance!! |
